1. OVERVIEW

This Shipping Policy describes how QatarCarto, operated by Carto LLC, processes and delivers orders placed on www.qatarcarto.com. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.
This policy is issued in accordance with Qatar's Electronic Commerce and Transactions Law (Decree-Law No. 16 of 2010) and Qatar Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008).

2. ORDER PROCESSING TIME
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on Fridays or Qatari public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed, and a second notification once your order has been dispatched.
Business days in Qatar: Saturday – Thursday
Friday and public holidays: Not processed
If we are unable to process your order for any reason (out of stock, payment issue, delivery restriction), we will contact you within 24 hours and offer a full refund or alternative.

3. DELIVERY WITHIN QATAR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We deliver to all areas across Qatar including:
— Doha and Greater Doha area
— Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Khor
— Lusail, The Pearl, West Bay
— Industrial Area and surrounding zones
— All other municipalities across Qatar
Estimated delivery times within Qatar:
— Doha and central areas: 1–2 business days
— Outside Doha (Qatar): 1–2 business days
Delivery fees within Qatar:
— Orders under QAR 300: QAR 15–40 (calculated at checkout)
— Orders QAR 300 and above: FREE delivery
Please note: Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by high order volume, public holidays, or factors outside our control. We will notify you of any significant delay.

4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We currently ship to select GCC countries. International shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.
GCC estimated delivery times:
— Saudi Arabia: 5–10 business days
— UAE: 5–8 business days
— Kuwait: 6–10 business days
— Bahrain: 5–8 business days
— Oman: 6–10 business days
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. We have no control over customs charges and cannot predict their amount.

5. SHIPMENT TRACKING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your delivery.
If you have not received your tracking information within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at qtrcarto@gmail.com with your order number.

6. FAILED DELIVERIES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
If a delivery attempt fails because:
— No one was available to receive the order
— The address provided was incomplete or incorrect
— The customer was unreachable
The courier will attempt redelivery or leave a notification. If the order is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply for redelivery.
Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are accurate at the time of placing your order.

7. DELAYED OR LOST SHIPMENTS

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please:
1. Check your tracking link for updates
2. Contact us at qtrcarto@gmail.com with your order number
In accordance with Qatar Electronic Commerce Law (Decree-Law No. 16 of 2010), if your order has not been delivered within 30 days of the agreed delivery date, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. We will process such refunds within 5–7 business days.
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier, we will either resend the order or issue a full refund at your choice.

8. DAMAGED ITEMS ON ARRIVAL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
If your order arrives damaged, please:
1. Take photos of the damaged item and packaging immediately
2. Email us at qtrcarto@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery
3. Include your order number and photos in the email
We will arrange a replacement or full refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and Qatar Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 2008. Return shipping for damaged items will be covered by us.

9. RETURN SHIPPING

— Defective or incorrect items: We cover return shipping costs
— Change-of-mind returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
— Items over QAR 250: We recommend using a trackable shipping service

10. CASH ON DELIVERY (COD)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We offer Cash on Delivery for orders within Qatar. COD orders may take 1–2 additional business days to process. A COD handling fee of QAR 10 may apply and will be shown at checkout.
Note: COD is not available for international orders.
